I was shockingly surprised! The rooms are nice and clean. Bed is soft and comfortable. (I'd bring extra pillows. 2 each isn't enough for me. Lol) Cute little back door porch with chairs. Friendly staff. The best La Quinta Inn I've ever stayed in!

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast is made up of 3 cereals, a waffle maker, biscuits and gravy and either cheese omelets or sausage patties, bagels, packaged muffins, orange and apple juice. There are also apples, bananas and yogurt.
La Quinta in El Dorado is a straight forward good place to stay the night. I stayed here for two nights and found it clean and very comfortable. The wifi was better than most hotels. The walls are thin so you might want to keep the noise down in the hallways. It appeared like most of the guests were contract labor, just looking for a quiet place to sleep. If you're looking for gimmicks, bells and whistles then you should look elsewhere and pay the premium.
