First off, do an online application if you even want to be considered, because these people are the most judgmental in-person. Second, just don't rent from them. They are lousy. They will not fix anything that happens to come up wrong with your rental property whether it be an apartment or a rent-house. I spent more time and money myself fixing stuff around my rental house. We couldn't even go to work for 2 days because our front door bolt lock was broken on a Sunday and it took them until Wednesday morning to fix it. And this was a house smack dab in the middle of the hood of E Faulkner. Our toilet was leaking for long and it took them so long to come fix that by the time they actually did, my water bill was over $100 for two people when it was regularly $40. The front porch was literally falling in and a hazard to anybody who came over, and even after threatening to take them to court over it, they still refused to fix it, until a week before i planned on moving out, when some random guy knocks on my door early one morning saying he needs to plug a extension cord in so he can fix my porch. I told the guy to get lost we were moving and i wasn't letting them use any of my utilities. Oh, and also, Century21 is the worlds worst to keep you informed of anything going on. One day I decided to go get some fast food and returned to my front door being wide open, back fence wide open, and a random guy spraying for bugs inside of my rent house and even on top of my kitchen counter tops where there was clearly a baked cake sitting. I mean seriously, i could post a book of crap stories over the 12 months i rented thru these idiots. Then, when i moved out and gave about 3 weeks notice (there was no lease contract) that i was planning on moving, Charles Rushing (the guy in charge of renting) told me it was fine for me to move out to just vacuum and he knew we didn't mess anything up so we would get most of our deposit back. We vacuumed better than when we first moved in, emptied out the fridge, and I get an email a week later saying that I may actually OWE money instead of getting a deposit back?!?! Wow, these guys are downright crooks. BEWARE!!!
I rented a house from Charles Rushing for 6 months, and it was possibly the worst rental experience of my life. I came home to someone in my house spraying for bugs, they were supposed to notify us whenever someone was to come by, and we never received a call. The bug sprayer also sprayed all over the food I had set on my kitchen counters. I had to practically bed for them to come fix my falling in porch, their response? "We'll send someone out in the spring"..this was in October. No one was ever there to fix my porch, but they did tell us we could pull the carpet on the porch up if we wanted to. The front door lock stripped, and when we notified them about not being able to lock the door, they then waited a week to send anyone out to fix my lock. We notified them we would be moving, and everything was approved. After being out of the house for a week, he informed us that we would not be able to get the deposit back, and we would possibly owe money for not giving 30 days notice about moving. Keep in mind he approved us moving out. If you want a landlord who won't fix things in a timely manner and wont notify you of people coming in your house, then Charles Rushing is the man to go to.
Very professional and really helpful
Very unprofessional. Does not fix things in timely matter or sometimes not at all. If they do fix them they don't fix properly.
Very bad service Stay away .
