Gives an old recovering alcoholic that does everything in excess a script for Xanax. He's in his sixties and doesn't have anxiety, or stress, he can't even tell ya why she prescribed them to him. He s ended up in the emergency room because he took to many on accident because he was messed up on the pills and couldnt remember and overdosed just a little over a year ago probably . now he's driving around town messed up on pills that aren't from the pain management clinic in little rock where he goes once a month. Calls us over and over saying he can't come onto work today when he doesn't even work for us. I didn't even know a np could prescribe those kinds of things. How many times do people who are concerned have to tell her?! Just another health care provider over prescribing probably for a kickback. Oh and the one time I called and tried to get appointment cause I was sick and new in town....lady who answered the phone was the rudest, most unhelpful person I ever encountered at a "doctor office" even though she's not a Dr.
She is always so kind and willing to listen. I never feel as if I am asking a stupid question and she is so knowledgeable about anything I have ever asked her about. When she was unsure she referred me to a specialist.
